Editorial Review:

Product DescriptionThese ventilated breast shells from Avent protect sore or cracked nipples during the healing process by providing exposure to air while protecting from clothing. The breast milk saver shells collect leaking milk during feedings and if feeding sessions have been delayed. They can also be useful for relieving engorgement.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - They're okay...
They actually work better than I thought, but don't plan on going anywhere with them (because they make you look absolutely huge), and sleeping with them doesn't really work either. They have to be emptied often or else the milk gets all over the place.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Saves leaked breastmilk, protects cracked nipples

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - collects a lot of milk
It has 2 main uses:
1) great for sore nipples. You can use it for a couple of hours to improve healing
2) When i breastfeed my baby i use it in the breast that is not in "use". By the time my son finish with the other breast it has collected a lot of milk!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - couldn't live without!
I was wasting so so many breastpads and milk that I could have been collecting for months! I couldn't live without these and will tell every nursing mother I know about them!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - ok - nothing great
this has helped, but I am not thrilled. I cant wear it for too long - the pressure it puts hurts if I wear it for more than 30-40 minutes or so. I'd prefer something I can wear atleast for a few hours - maybe a whole day and give my sore nipples a break - but thats not possible with this one.
