Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Only works with user help
I bought this pump when I had my second child. I used it only at work 2-3 times or less 5 days a week for about six months. And for my third child for 1 month before it lost all suction power. It was great for the first week I used it on the suction end of things but day by day got less and less suction. It never expressed milk for me unless I was either massaging my breasts or using hand expression technics while pumping. It took alot of time to get even 2 oz of milk because the motor starts to wear out very soon after the first use which disappointed me. I didnt expect it to last forever, but atleast a year of fulltime use would be nice. It may be good for occasional use, but I wouldnt recommend it for everyday use.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - First Years Pump - Working Moms - Will last about 2 months
I'm on my 3rd First Years Pump! The 1st one lasted about a month; the 2nd one lasted 2 months & I'm hoping that the 3rd pump will last me 3 or more months. Make sure you keep your receipt and packaging. It'll quit on you one day, so I would really only expect it to last you at most 2 months. That might be because of the amount of usage. As a working mom, I would pump one side in the morning, both sides at lunch time and one time at night. If you use it, I would strongly advise that if you go back to work, to start pumping as much as possible & freeze your milk. That way if you miss pumping, it's not the end of the world and have it stored up. In the beginning, if you have't pumped before, you need to have a lot of patience with this pump. It may not start expressing milk for 5 minutes, as you have to position it just right. But after 3 Electric Pumps, I guess I got the hang of it. But overall, it beats paying over $300.00 on a different pump though.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - don't waste your money
this pump only worked for one month, i only used it about ten days of the whole month it worked. it lost power. it took forever for me to get one ounce. it was better for me to use my own hands and i got more milk out for sure. do not waste your money on this pump, it comes out to be more expensive than the others since you have to go out to get another pump.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great option for the price
Great pump for the price, I use it once maybe twice a day and have had NO problem with this. I had the comparable Medela pump and got rid of it. The first years pump was half the price, easier to use and works better

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - wonderful item
I purchased this pump for my first child. I was able to pump 8-10 oz at a time (having to switch bottles, of course) while nursing on the other side. Customer service was great! When my puppy chewed up the breast shield, they sent me another at no charge. Only problem I had was the milk backed up into the pump once, was without pump for 2 days, but again, customer service replaced at no charge! If you can't afford a pump in style, buy this one. Also have a dual first years pump and it was wonderful when I went back to work. Cut pumping time in half!
