- the name goes with the producti am a first time mother, i was always told by my friends that breast pumps were horrible. but i decided to breast feed so i wanted a pump that was easy to assemble and gentle. and i got that and more. you choose how hard you want the pump to suction.(my son sucks my nipples harder than the pump)and its easy to clean and assemble. it even has its own case..i highly recommend this product..

- Not horrible, but average breast pump.Products like this one exemplify why it is so important to do research before making a purchase. Before I chose this breast pump, I knew that it was only meant to be for occasional use and it truly is for that. Knowing that I was going to try to nurse my son exclusively, I put a pump on my registry simply for to use in the event of an emergency that I would have to run somewhere and leave him with someone. For $39.99, no one should expect to get a hospital-level pump!
For the most part, I was satisfied with the pump while I used it. Once you realize what the 'kinks' are you just have to work to avoid them, but that is why I gave it three stars because of some of the tedious things you have to deal with. The suction is hard to accurately get when you first place it on you so there will be painful tugging at times! Milk does build up in the part that connects the pump to the bottle. I'm not quite sure when it would happen because it didn't happen EVERY time so I don't know what causes that. But yes, the first few times I used the pump, I would notice no milk going into the bottle and when I would unscrew it I guess the pressure being alleviated would then cause the milk to fall in. Then it was fine again.
A lot of my milk would stay on the shield to! What a waste. And it is a bit tedious to clean, though not that hard. It defintely is not a product you can use all day, everyday. And yes, the noise is horrible!
It's also not as comfortable as it seems to sit there for awhile holding the pump. But once again, this is not the quality of a hospital pump and therefore should not be regarded like it should be.
Only buy this pump to use OCCASIONALLY and in that case, my advice now having had a child is to wait to see if your child will take, how breastfeeding is going for you, etc. All these things are factors into the type of pump you should and will buy.

- HORRIBLE!I absolutely hate this pump! I went through 3 of these because I wasn't able to get my money back and could only exchange. The motor broke twice and one time it suctioned in and never released. Instead of exchanging it for a fourth time, I just threw the whole thing out. The part that attaches to the motor/handle and the piece that allows milk through are impossible to clean. Eventually, on all 3 that I went through, the milk builds up in the piece that attaches to the bottle (only takes a few pumps to fill this up) and you have to break suction for it to filter through. It continues to do this for as long as you're pumping. If you don't realize that the milk hasn't gone through, the built up milk gets into the motor/handle and leaks out through the suction power control. The massage bubbles on the cup are uncomfortable and only irritate your breasts. The suction dies down almost immediately making pumping take so much longer. This pump is such a waste of money. Buyer beware!

- UnhappyI have to agree with those who say it is good for occasional use only. I first experienced problems with the pain I felt from the sheild, the bumps are left embedded on your breasts. But even that wasn't the worst. After only a few uses it began to clog in the small compartment and overflow, unless the suction was broken to release. Which causes the process to take longer. I am now back to work and am looking for a more agreeable pump.

- The worst pump ever!!!!!!!This is the worst pump ever. The blue plastic ring inside the suction part continually falls out and it's a pain the place back. It's loud, flimsy, and on the verge of falling apart after one month of use. If you're planning on returning to work and time is of the essence DO NOT BUY THIS PUMP!!!!!!
